LOCAL AUTHORITY HIGHER DEMANDS ARE BLAMED ON THE RECESSION I BEG TO DIFFER

Some of the six per cent of Local Authority's increased demands is obviously due to the recession, but basic common sense tells a different story, the increase in Care Proceedings, which in some parts of the Country the increase is more than 75 percent, requiring more finances. Prior to 1st April 2008, the price to instigate the former was £150,and now can be up to £4000. One Local Authority has wasted large amounts of the taxpayers money by dropping 500 cases, did they really need to be instigated in the first place?
