The Paediatric Palliative Care team, have a job to counsel the whole Family in cases of this nature.
I am just speculating if Alfie Parents got the chance to receive any of the counseling at the Hospital, or not?
Just wondering if a Nurse was with them at the time of Alfie death, when Thomas was giving his son mouth to mouth respiration.
If palliative care counseling was not an option in this case, it would be pretty poor.…

If a Child is on and end of Life pathway, and stops breathing, the Hospital do not have any obligation whatsoever to intervene.
Alfie would have had a DO NOT RESUSCITATE PLAN, AS WELL if he had of had a cardiac arrest the Medical Staff would not have intervened…
