The press release from the MOJ entitled OPENNESS & ACCOUNTABILITY IN FAMLY COURTS: NEW LEGISLATION PROPOSED 19/11/09 is exactly what it says in the title only; " NEW LEGISLATION." The rest of it is artful and utterly devious double entendre that would make any campaigner/journalist feel warm and cosy inside. DON'T BELIEVE IT.

Goverment accepts 15 reccomendations from the Social Work Taskforce

The Government have accepted 15 recommendations, from the Social Work taskforce, i just hope they will put adequate funding into the project., it is alright putting things into theory,practice is of the uttermost importance.



Ed Balls stats that, it is a watershed moment for Social Workers.



Perhaps they should consider dealing with the critical work,that has come out of many of the Local Authority's Ofsted failings.

DOUBLE STANDARDS YET AGAIN

The Government make things so difficult, especially for single Mothers.



They are stopping benefits if the mother doesn't look for work.



The problem is it is very hard to get a job that fits around school holidays,and paying out for Childminders leaves these mothers worse off financially.



Even Young Mothers with babies are encouraged to go back to work,and at the other end of the scenario,are told that child development is affected quite badly if the Mother… Continue
