My thoughts from a previous post .…

It was of great sadness that we heard that Our Legend Richard Roper, who very sadly passed away at the end of September 2024.

We last saw Richard at our Teams AGM at the beginning of September 2024.

Richard was a Family supporter and Mackenzie Friend support at PAIN for well over 25 years.

Richard forever knowledge of Social Services Policy, and Family Court Caselaw and immense knowledge of everything Children Act will be forever in our memory.

Due to chronic ill health, I unfortunately resigned from PAIN in December 2024,after 40 years of service,

Absolutely wonderful that Princess Catherine has now finished chemotherapy and that she is free of cancer.

Continued Prayers for King Charles 11  Princess Catherine in their fight with reference to their 

health issues.

I met Brendan on a cold winter day,

A Service user introduced us,I didn’t know what to say,

Brendan voice was so chilled, he had lots to declare,

About the unfairness of the system, it was just not fair,

Brendan said that he was happy to take PAIN cases, he said yes with a smile,.
