Council to shut its children’s homes by end of the year

MY THOUGHTS

The Country is going on a very backwards spiral, Essex County Council are due to close all their childrens homes by the end of the year.

These homes care for children who are very hard to place with foster carers, those include children with severe disabilities, children with autistic spectrum problems.

Heaven knows what will happen to the most vulnerable in Society?

We might as well go back to the dark days of the workhouse.

Also affected will be Parents who use these homes, for respite care.

Many children may of been removed from loving parents, and taken into care wrongly, only to languish in childrens homes for many years, the uncertainty for the future welfare of these children is a real worry.
