Adoption process to be speeded up

MY THOUGHTS

Even though one of our clients has obtained an excellent parenting assessment report,the LA have already marked the baby for adoption,and are in the process of trying to find a placement.

The baby was born in January, the Mum has very limited contact, and there will obviously comments about Mum and Baby not bonding which i am sure is down to the very limited contact, but the Social Workers have other ideas and don't want to promote anymore contact because of the adoption issue.

The Mother has been granted more legal aid to take Social Services back to court for further contact.

The theory is now that less contact means no bonding between MOTHER AND CHILD WHICH WILL AID LOCAL AUTHORITY ADOPTION STATISTICS, and negative reports,due to limited contact and Parents and children not bonding,which again will be put down to poor parenting skills.
