Adult social care is in crisis mode. We need a clear long-term plan

My Husband has had 4 different Social Workers in a year.

Two of them i have not met, last Social Worker left before she had given me a date to meet her, never did.meet her.

I have been waiting for a Carers Assessment for 6 months, totally unacceptable.

New Social Worker who i have not yet met, because having to cancel twice due to me having surgery on one day and an ERCP on the next date.

She told me that if i cancel again she will strike my husband off.

GREAT ALL IN THE NAME OF PERSON CENTERED CARE UNDER THE SOCIAL CARE ACT OF 2014.

She will be in breach of her duty if she strikes him off.NO WAY WILL I ALLOW THAT TO HAPPEN.
