Are social care services improving people's wellbeing?

They have continually ruined my life, after wrongly being accused of Child abuse,after my Son, jumped from the side of bath and landed awkwardly fracturing his tibia,with mo trauma.

They took him into care,straight from a Hospital bed without informing us.

Got back to the Hospital after going home to feed our older son and ourselves, 

Got back to the ward an later,my Son was no where to be seen, the hospital had informed Social Services.

They took him into Foster Care after going for a PLACE OF SAFETY ORDER, WHICH IT WAS BACK IN THE DAY.

AFTER 12 WEEKS OF PURE TRAUMA AND HELL SCOTT WAS RETURNED TO US,THE POWERS TO BE BACKED DOWN AND SAID THE FRACTURE COULD OF OCCURRED ACCIDENTALLY .

Six months later he was diagnosed with OI,brittle bone disease.

Years later we had our first Grandchild, she came out of hospital, but was admitted back to hospital 24 hours later with respiratory distress.

We went to see her, could not believe it, she was placed on the same ward that her Father had been taken from by Social Services all those years ago, she was in the same bed space as well.

I was in hysterics, how my husband managed to take me off the ward that day i will never know.

They said they would keep her in Hospital for 3 days, i was convinced that they were going to take her into care on an emergency protection, they had no reason to do this.

What should of been a wonderful celebration, was total hell.

My Husband began to drink large amounts of alcohol when his Mum and died 4 years ago,

He gt to the stage where he had liver disease and he was fitting every so often, and because i was working full time i had to put him into a care home.

He was put on a DOLS, because he had got out of the care home and nearly got ran over by a car.

The care home manager put an application in to DOLS without my prior knowledge which was wrong.

I got called by a best interest assessor , who stated by a 5 minute telephone call, that she would not allow me to become Relevant persons advocate, which is usually given to a family member, but in this case she said that i did not have the capacity to deal with things in the best interest of my husband, based on a 5 minute phone call.

She stated that if i did not go along with her wishes she could prevent me from seeing my husband.

I fought to become his Relevant  Persons advocate,after lots of complaints to the LA,

THEY ONCE AGAIN RUINED MY LIFE.

I NEARLY LOST MY HOUSE, DUE TO THE CARE FEES MOUNTING UP, THE FINANCE TEAM AT THE LA WERE AN UTTER NIGHTMARE TO DEAL WITH, THEY BREACHED THE DATA PROTECTION ACT TWICE WITHIN A YEAR REGARDING MYSELF.

I HAD TO HAVE MY HUSBAND HOME AND BECOME HIS FULL TIME CARER, very hard with long term medical conditions.

I could go on and on about the way Social Services have treated me, that is for another time.

I was told by the hospital at one stage to make a decision to have in, NOT for RESUSCITATION, as he was dying from a brain injury today he is in better health than myself.

HOW WRONG THE HOSPITAL WAS IN THIS CASE.
