You have it in one, more Parents becoming homeless.

More of these Children taken into care, Local Authority's would rather use Foster care the more expensive option than giving the Parents a few pounds to keep Families together.

I recently spoke of a very tragic case of a Father having all his benefits stopped.

His Wife had died 3 years previously of cancer.

They had a 11 year old Son together.

Father lost his benefits awaiting tribunal, for PIP, he had no money to feed his child, the boy was placed into long term foster care, again the Local Authority would not help the Father financially, very happy to use foster care

Very sad result the Father committed suicide, i am unsure why he did not use a food bank.

After the horrendous tower block fire in London, it was stated by the Council that if the homeless with children failed to accept any accommodation, they could risk having their children taken into care, a very heartless attitude when they may of lost loved ones and their homes as well.

Not a lot mentioned about what firms the Council had contracted out to upgrade these homes and using cladding cheap sake to save a few pounds, that resulted in the death of many.
