Just a small thought, if CAFCASS, do not ensure that the Children's wishes and feelings pack is filled in with regards to Private Law Cases, there is very little hope of Justice.

Gillick is there for a reason, Children at the age of 13 and over, should be able to bring in their own Legal Representation, but this totally not carried out with Regards to Public Law cases.

All LA have a mandatory Duty to notify all Children that are deemed Gillick to invite them to LAC Reviews and Child Protection case conferences , but this rarely happens.

They should be informed by letter, and encouraged to attend such meetings with an Advocate.

With regards to our Private Law cases, Children have been given the chance to fill in their Wishes and Feelings Pack,,and even been given the chance to see the Judge in Chambers to Highlight their wishes and feelings.
