CHILD PROTECTION CASE CONFERENCES

Children and young people who are able to understand what is
happening to them, re a ten year old, should be invited to all case
conferences and reviews.

Local Authority’s should inform the young person and parents in writing,and a receipt should be given to them, to prove that Social Workers have given them the letter, these guidelines are mandatory
under the public law guidelines, so make sure that your children, if of
age are attending these important meetings,and if they have not been
invited to attend, take action.
