Class actions and suing social services

Has anyone successfully sued social services?

I was due to receive an apology and suggested final settlement of £1000 at final stage of LGO. Heard nothing.LGO even said put in a complaint about the length of time its taken for them to investigate and similar problems with GSCC.

5 years my complaint has been in the system. I dont want an apology or money from ss after they tried to bully me out of my complaint with their slimey CO. I want those sws accountable and to lose their jobs,which should happen in a just system.

I hear people say that the judge has allowed them to sue then hear nothing further. Any ideas?

6 years ago I was told I could maybe sue over my adoption but Id have to hurry cos there was a time limit and I was already fighting ss over my own child. So im nearly 40 so i presume time limit has gone. I did go to a solicitors who said it was very hard to sue SS but I would have to wait for lgos report which i did and there was failings obviously

The only time i have known of an individual suing Social Services is the compensation the Websters got via the European Court with reference their miscarriage of justice, an Asian Family got compensation relating to their case in 1998, their child was wrongly taken into care after suffering a fracture, the child was diagnosed with brittle bone disease, the compensation was because the LA didn't supply an interpreter they won via the European Court.
Children can sue if they were wrongly taken,and it effects them mentally, only the children can sue..i have a case that mat be trying for compensation, he was wrongly taken into care in 1987, aged 13, he is now 30ish,and is suffering from flash backs, a Solicitor has told him, that he mat ne granted legal aid to fight it,will post more when i have any news.
