Councils ‘did not keep up-to-date records of children in foster care’

Totally abysmal, if this is the case there will be very little information to add to LAC Reviews.
With the amount of children that going missing while in the care of the Local Authority, there will be very little change for the better for children that are in the care system in the UK.
Records of children in foster care, and the need to update on a regular basis is a basic guidance and policy.
WATCHING FOR MORE LOCAL AUTHORITY FAILINGS.
