Cassandra Jardine was one of the first Journalists to highlight the
injustices of the Family Court arena from the Daily Telegraph,
Back in 2004 Cassandra investigated the plight of 30 cases from Parents
Against Injustice,where parents had been through the trauma of forced
adoption, via the family courts, on the conflicting and misleading
evidence given by various witnesses.
Due to her excellent reports exposed ,Essex Social Services had to review their adoption Guidelines.
My PAIN co worker at the time Chris Smith, even got the Police to
investigate the perjury of Social Workers within the family courts in
Essex, but the decision was to take no action.
Two years ago i requested a meeting with Childrens Minister Ed Balls, to highlight the
groups concerns about the alarmingly high increase in Care Proceedings
and emergency protection orders being instigated,with very little or no
evidence given to support such drastic action.
Mr Balls stance was that he cared very little for the plight of innocent parents caught up
in the system,and he by his motives of refusing to meet, suggested that
it was ACCEPTABLE FOR PARENTS TO HAVE CHILDREN WRONGLY TAKEN INTO CARE
AND EXPERIENCE THE INJUSTICE OF FORCED ADOPTION, a week prior to this
Ed Balls had met with a baby Peter campaigning group.
