Foster care is faced with a ‘looming crisis’

My answer to this is why do LA, not even consider using the Kincare clause in the first instance by placing Children with an immediate Family Member such as Grandparents, Aunties, Uncles, or even a Family Friend.?

In most cases they will not even consider their mandatory obligation of placing a child with an immediate family member, but would rather pay and use the first option, Foster care, a huge amount of money at the Taxpayers expense.
