All i can is Special Guardianship, should be explored more, before placing a Child into Foster Care.

And Grandparents and other Family Members taking on this role should get the same money as a Foster Carer.

And not left to suffer with FINANCIAL HARDSHIP.

A nice little earner as some Foster Carers that are worker for Private Foster Care and Adoption Agencies get over £600 a week per Child.

THIS IS THE ONLY THING MARTIN NAREY  MENTIONED IN YOUR REPORT ABOUT SPECIAL GUARDIANSHIP AND THAT WAS FROM A GRANDPARENTS POINT OF VIEW ABOUT FINANCES..

A financial assessment is an integral part of this process. I have been given
numerous accounts of how this works, how no finance would be offered, that I was
ineligible even for assessment. I had to use voluntary agencies and research on line
for the facts. The first social worker simply failed to turn up for an appointment to
assess me. The baby's social worker took a few notes and didn't tell me the outcome
though indirectly I was informed I was ineligible as I have some savings, which is
completely incorrect. Ultimately, after explaining the process to the
uncommunicative unit responsible, I have been offered some support... Is this an
acceptable way for this to be conducted?”
