FOUR YEAR OLD BOY GOES MISSING WHILE IN FOSTER CARE

http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/uknews/crime/7977863/Four-year-old-...

There is serious concerns for the child in this case, the child was placed with foster carers after being removed from birth parents, the foster carers have had temporary care of the child for 18 months.
The husband has been questioned for assault, thus Social Services obviously consider the child to be at risk, and had arranged a meeting for Social Workers to return the child back to the LA.
The foster carers are now on the run.with the child.
Imagine the distress of the natural parents, and the anger they must feel towards Social Services, that their child has been put at risk, and that the carers may try and flee the country.
We don't have the details, about why the child was taken form the natural parents in the first place.
Another question that could pertain to this dilemma is, was the kincare clause ever discussed, or could of been an option? to late now, after the horse has bolted, should Social Services have removed the boy as soon as their had been a disclosure of assault made against the foster father?
It looks like the Local Authority may have failed to protect another vulnerable child?
I hope the little boy is found to be safe and well, and placed with a person that has been adequately checked ISA and CRB wise, or may be placed with an immediate family member, under the kincare clause.or if there is a possibility returned to his natural parents.

Value-foster care.
