Leicester council makes 'significant data breach' over confidential taxi email

So Leicester City Council state in today's Leicester Mercury that all Cab firms have deleted private information sent in error.

And if anybody working for Taxi Companies that share the data, will be breaching the Data Protection act 1998.

Talk about passing the book, the LA should not of breached their duty in the first place.

I hope that the Person responsible for the breach at Leicester City Council will be heavily taken to task over their utter incompetence .

And that the Information Commissioner will take direct action and sanction the LA for their blatant disregard .
