HI Alison/ Trevor,

I'm a writer for SHE magazine and I stumbled across your website and campaign while researching a piece I'm writing on parents being wrongly suspected of physical or emotional abuse of their children. The idea came from a piece I read in the Daily Mail about a mother whose child suffers from neurofibromatosis and because of the nature of his injuries she was suspected of causing them and investigated accordingly.

This led us to consider other illnesses, symptoms and scenarios that might cause the same suspicion and how horrendous it must be to not only have a sick or disabled child but be suspected of causing them harm.

I was wondering whether anyone from PAIN might be willing to have a chat about the incidences you encounter and whether any of the parents you deal with might be willing to chat about their experiences? Of course we'd be able to mention the organisation and it's work as well as giving copy approval to anyone who speaks with us - it's very important to us that our features are accurate and everyone involves is happy as we're not a newspaper, we don't write sensationalist stories to sell issues, we want to give our readers an intellegent, insightful read into an issue which could very well affect them.

Thanks, I look forward to hearing from you,

Rachel
