The new Private Law incentive is a good idea in theory, and would help with regards to the preventing long drawn out family court cases, thus saving millions of pounds at the taxpayers expense, but there is a worry about cases of domestic violence, already mentioned, some Women will not even admit to friends that they are being subjected to such, let alone talk to somebody they hardly know, with their partner being in the same room as then.

How is the Government going to enforce this?, if somebody is that adamant they will not attend mediation sessions, will any penalties occur, could this prevent that person from having any contact with their children.

the Government should have no say, whether people get married or not, or divorced or not.
