I applaud the sacking of Mike Wardle the chief executive of the GSCC.

203 unallocated misconduct cases and 21 public conduct cases is a disgrace, i wonder how many children have been left at risk of abuse, because of this mans incompetence?

At last, i cant believe what i am reading, Social Work training is going to be strengthened, which will hopefully raise standards of practice,and wow, holding the profession account for competence as well as conduct.

This should of been followed through years ago, after Cleveland and the death of Jasmine Beckford, which could of prevented the horrendous deaths of Baby Peter,and many other vulnerable children,and the instances of Parents having Children wrongly taken into care,and suffer the heartache of forced adoption,and miscarriages of justicehttp://www.cypnow.co.uk/bulletins/Daily-Bulletin/news/965260/?DCMP=EMC-DailyBulletin
