The same number will hear a similar piece broadcast tonight at 1745.

The material has also been running on our "sister" radio station 1Xtra - and it will have been heard there by approx 700,000 people.

We've also been running the story in our bulletins throughout the day - exposing the story to millions more listeners.

It's provoked an enormous reaction on the texts - we've had hundreds, mostly supporting the right of falsely accused people to stay out of the public eye.

On the down-side, I'm afraid I had a phone call from the Today programme late last night to say they no longer had room to hear from
us.
