The judges thought Nigel Priestley is exactly the type of solicitor who the profession should be commending - he is one who demonstrates through his work a passion for correcting the injustices of society and
he has recently won two landmark cases which have national
implications. He is also responsible for setting up the twinning link
when he was president of Huddersfield Law Society with the Uganda Law
society. He is an exemplar to all in the legal sector.
