OFSTED GIVES DAMMINNG REPORT ON CAFCASS IN GREATER LONDON

Ofsted have given a damming report relating to the greater London area, which covers 33 Local Authorities.
In many cases children and families have to wait six months for a Guardian to be appointed to the Family Court arena,
The lowest possible inadequacy of cafcass is given,which also states that management documentation is out of date.other concerns are that complaints,are not dealt with within the expected timescale.
Private Law cases also is a cause for concern, with reference to family breakdown, relating to health education,and financial implications,
The report confirms what many family solicitors have been saying for many months that there is no voice for the child in Care Proceedings.in both Private,and Public Law scenarios.
