ON THE CHILD PROTECTION REGISTER-BUT THEY DIDNT CONSIDER OUR CHILDREN TO BE AT RISK

There is no doubt about it the trauma of having Scott wrongly taken into care, brought my inflammatory bowel disease on.
I remember i was in hospital for three weeks,and the Social Services
wanted to get both boys names off the old at risk register,and demanded
that they came round the day i came out of hospital.
They were greeted by a barrage of family members, my cousin was visiting from Brighton,and my Mum and Dad were there.
They had not visited 8 weeks prior to this.
They left with a tail between their legs,and the boys names were removed from the register two days later.
At the time we had had Scott returned to us,and had not received a
visit from a Social Worker for at least 8 weeks, i telephoned them and
demanded a visit, they said my key worker was off sick and they had
nobody to send, i said that they should be monitoring us at regular
intervals, because the boys names were on the register, they then
stated something that stunned me, WE DON’T CONSIDER YOUR CHILDREN TO BE
AT RISK.
Our Local Councilor was brilliant, he and we informed the press.and that was the last we heard from the child stealing morons.
