The NSPCC's new Scale-up Unit, is a national effort to support health, social care and voluntary sector organisations to successfully implement NSPCC evidence-based services.
We've launched our Scale-up Unit because we believe we can achieve better outcomes for many more children if we work in partnership to put more evidence into practice. We also want to learn what works for others implementing our services.
Implementation support
The team supports social care organisations to change, adapt and develop systems to enable an environment where the adoption of evidence-based programmes becomes easier.
We work with adopting organisations to gain buy-in and identify champions to lead the implementation of the innovation. We provide a range of pre- and post-implementation support, and training and consultancy to help adopting organisations create the infrastructures needed to sustain the evidence- based programme. We also give organisations support to think about cultural and behavioural changes that aid successful adoption of new programmes.
