This public meeting is an opportunity to help put a stop to the government's proposals to reduce legal aid.

• Government proposes drastic cuts to civil legal aid: many categories of law to be removed from scope
• Over 600,000 people no longer eligible for legal aid
• Over 5,000 individual responses to the legal aid consultation oppose the proposed cuts
