Scots social workers failing to focus on long-term stability

MY THOUGHTS

It is not just Social Workers in Scotland, that are failing to focus on the long term stability of children.

With reference to one of my cases,the Care Proceedings have been going on for nearly three years, all three siblings have been placed with separate foster carers.

The mothers sister was given the option,to be the kincarer, and was a part of the care proceedings,and represented legally, all assessments that were made on her were of good achievement, but now this option has been disregarded, in other words all her legal fees have resulted in a waste at the taxpayers expense.

Three years later there is still no final outcome to the case.
