I decided it was time for a change of career, so i applied for a job with a
nursing agency.
I have been in my present job with a Leicester hospital since 1989,and know that my enhanced CRB DISCLOSURE is clear.
The application form arrived,and i checked the forms over, one of the documents said have you ever
been involved in a child protection investigation?
The answer is yes, but we had our names vindicated.
If i filled the form in and disclosed this information, they wouldn't even consider me for the job, but i have an
obligation to disclose such information, even though i know that my enhanced
criminal records bureau disclosure would be clear.
There is a fear that such information could be shared with my present employer,and open up a can of
worms.
I spoke with a PAIN solicitor today, who advised me not to apply for the job, in case of any reprisals .
I have felt stressed and upset all day,and with the fear in mind, that i have a beautiful two year old
Granddaughter, i cannot risk anything for the sake of a few extra pounds.
