Invite Children at the age of 13 and over to Child Protection Case Conferences,LAC Review, Children in need Plans then.

La have a mandatory obligation to forward a letter of invitation to these meetings, and encourage them to to take part via an advocate.

I recently attended a Child Protection case conference to the Parents, i mentioned that one of the Children had the right to be there.

The Social Worker looked rather dumbfounded, but the Child will be invited to the next meeting in September 2018.

IT JUST SHOWS YOU THAT LA ARE BREACHING GUIDELINES YET AGAIN.

In this case, the Child will turn up with a Barnados  advocate arranged by Social Services.
