The death of my Co Worker Richard Roper Parents Against Injustice PAIN

It was of great sadness that we heard that Our Legend Richard Roper, who very sadly passed away at the end of September 2024.

We last saw Richard at our Teams AGM at the beginning of September 2024.

Richard was a Family supporter and Mackenzie Friend support at PAIN for well over 25 years.

Richard forever knowledge of Social Services Policy, and Family Court Caselaw and immense knowledge of everything Children Act will be forever in our memory.

Richard work involved Appealing  various Family issues regarding parenting arrangements,custody, and contact issues including Adoption appeals within the Family Division of the High Court at the Royal Courts of Justice.

Many Parents have a lot to Thank Richard for, his case wins.saw the return of children to their parents.

If it had not been for Richard.one mother would of lost her 2 daughters to the care system over a Christmas period several years ago.

A truly remarkable man,who has now gone to Heavenly glory,

We mourn a friend,a exceptional CO Worker who will be very sadly missed.

Richard your memory will remain in our hearts forever.

We send our deepest condolences to Richard Wife,sons and the rest of the family.

We will miss you more than words can say.

Weeks years everyday.
