Adult Health and Social Care Forum Event:

VCS Adult Health and Social Care Forum Event: Engaging with the New Health Structures

Date: Tuesday 8 March
Time: 9am - 4pm
Location: Voluntary Action LeicesterShire, 9 Newarke Street, Leicester LE1 5SN

The VCS Adult Health and Social Care Forums 2nd event focuses on the importance of local VCS engagement in emerging health and social care structures and partnership arrangements at a local level.

The event offers VCS organisations the chance to:

  • Develop a comprehensive understanding of the changes in health and social care and will enable them to identify areas where they could provide increased levels of services and new areas to investigate
  • Advance their knowledge of the important role that JSNA's have in informing commissioning and the routes to engage with their development
  • Secure an increased commitment from commissioners to engage VCS organisations at all stages of commissioning processes

Keynote speakers will provide the event with local and national good practice regarding partnership approaches and the latest details of how to engage with health and social care structures.

The event is open to VCS organisations delivering Health and Social Care services across Leicester and Leicestershire, emerging GP consortia and partners from across the statutory sector to provide opportunities to inform and engage with those delivering the new commissioning arrangements locally.
