Blame and shame in social work is not just about media headlines

Why should they not be named and shamed, if they have proved to be showing utter incompetent in Their work, leading to LA Failings and the death of a Child.

Nurses and Drs are shamed by the Press if Their practice is not fit for purpose leading to the death of a Patient due to incompetence.

Perhaps this kind of blame and shame culture, if not put in the Headlines, will result in the HCPC, not taking Service Users Complaints seriously.

If they have proven poor practice, our Children need to be safeguarded by the Press highlighting poor practice, and naming the offending Social Worker.

If LA, do not learn and protect children from incompetent Social Workers, lessons will never be learned.
