Applications for Care Proceedings, for the first four months of this year, are 75%,higher than for the same time last year.
Family Courts received 755 section 31 Care and Supervision Order Requests for July, with 270 for the same time last year.
The highest ever record was June2009, when there was 774 requests granted.
With the July figures, it shows that there was 2826, applications made,which is almost 75%, higher than last year, there was 408 Cases, for this time last year.
The figures have increased due to Local Authority failings up and down the Country, resulting in the death of vulnerable Children.
The Family Courts are in meltdown, due to these statistics,the backlog of Cases is also due to a waiting list for Guardians to be appointed, these profeshionals should be appointed, within a week, of a Case, reaching the Family Court Arena, there is a 5 month waiting list for Guardians, in several parts of the Country.
