Parents Against Injustice
Are you thinking about starting a social business? Do you run a charity or voluntary group and are you thinking about trading to generate income? Have you heard about social enterprise and wondered what it is and if it might be relevant to you?
If you are considering starting up a social enterprise and are looking for a clear understanding of why it is the business model of choice for socially and environmentally minded people, then the ‘First Steps in Social Enterprise’ workshop is for you. It will help you explore the practicalities of starting a social enterprise, providing you with an awareness of the different legal structures available and the management, governance and funding aspects of setting up your business.
The workshops are free to attend and will run from 10am until 4pm. Due to the popularity of these workshops, we have decided to hold two more before the programme finishes at the end of March, one in Nottingham on 22 March and one in Derby on 28 March (details below). Lunch and refreshments are provided.
