Mental Health Act review: how would recommendations affect frontline social workers?

https://www.communitycare.co.uk/2018/12/12/mha-review-recommendatio...

From a Relatives point of view, i can honestly say that i was treated appallingly by the Best Interest Assessor, as well as the Care Home Manager who did not inform me that she had put a DOLS Application in for My Husband.

She stated that i had no right to be informed even though i was his Deputy via the Court of Protection, regarding His Health and Welfare and Property.

These two blogs below highlight the problems i faced by the Best Interest Assessor, BIA,

My Husband is now living at home, i am his full time Carer.

He has now regained full Mental Capacity, and i did become his Relevant Persons Advocate in the end, due to persistence.
