Re: False allegations made against social workers by parents/carers

The CRB contains no details of allegations - only criminal convictions so her CRB should be clear. Not knowing the case, its difficult to comment but the term 'child in need' is used to define children with disabilities, who need additional support etc, so as such it should not be seen as a stick to hit Mum with. A plan for a child in need is a plan set in place to support a family so should not be seen as a bar to employment. If she contacts the GSCC she should be able to get more information as to whether there are concerns that would impact on her registration.
