I took a new case tonight in the Liverpool area, The mother received information from her child's school, with reference to child protection issues,and she had information about another family enclosed with her paperwork, Information requested for under the data protection act, from Social Services have also contained other families files mixed up with the requested documentation, make sure it is dealt with via the complaints procedure,and breach of confidentiality, i have told my client to complain to the Director of Education, Head Teacher,and board of Governors.
