There is no blame and accountability made on Social Workers, in any of these blogs.
Until Social Workers are made accountable for malpractice, these Local Authority failings and the death of vulnerable children will continue, Baby Peter was seen by Social Work staff, on more than 60 times and yet he still died.
Ofsted, have failed in more than 20 Local Authority's, on their on the spot inspections, some failures are due to incomplete assessments, done within the correct timescale leaving again vulnerable children at risk.
The Kin care clause highlighted in the Public Law Guidelines, should be used, before a child is ever placed into Care, by placing a child with an immediate member of the Family like Grandparents, until cases have been investigated.
I advise Parents on a daily basis, where there have been cases of miscarriages of Justice.
IN THE EYES OF ED BALLS AND MARTIN NAREY, THESE ACTIONS ARE ACCEPTABLE.
Newly qualified Social Workers should not be on front line Child protection duties, until a successful term of mentoring has taken place.
