Yes Result, the amount of files that have been left in Social Workers cars, and they have had their Cars stolen or broke in to, and the documents removed.

This lot does not surprise me at all, because Leicstershire County Council have breached the Data Protection Act twice in the past 12 months, one was by their Finance Department,

I recently have had a Carers Assessment done on me by my Husbands Social Worker, the assessment is not based on practical sessions, where i am being scrutinised with reference how i wash my Husband.

It is based on how my many long term medical conditions affect my caring capacity, i was expecting a one off payment to help me get some respite, a few days away.

The LA state that the cheque was sent out to me on 23rd January 2018,but nothing has been received at my end.

The LA then made the payment via BACS into my bank account, thus the Social Worker took my bank details.

with them now having my bank account details, i have asked the LA to delete my bank sort code and account from their data base, i have had no feedback regarding my request and nothing seems to be forthcoming.

So i could yet have my data breached for the third time, will have to keep a constant check on my online banking.

DO NOT TRUST THEM TO KEEP YOUR DATA SECURE, I HAVE FOUND THAT ONE OUT TWICE.

In this case the Information commissioner should take action and heavily sanction the LA , with a heavily fined.

And at least in this case the Social Worker has been struck off by the HCPC.
