SOCIAL SERVICES NEED MORE TIME TO PREPARE FOR OFSTED INSPECTIONS REPORT STATES

I totally agree that Childrens Services need more time to prepare for Ofsted inspections, Social Services have a daily battle on their hands at the moment, to get through their heavy case loads with the alarmingly increase in Care Proceedings, due to their own System failings, resulting in the death of vulnerable Children, but the on the spot inspections should continue, to oversee what improvements have been made, with reference to safeguarding children,and other aspects of concern, such as assesments not done within the allocated timescale.

Such scrutiny will improve Services,and possibly prevent shoddy practice.

Local Authority's are also under pressure, to start to implement the Governments new task force, into the new Social Services ways of training,and other new structuring.
