Soon you will be laid to rest,
70 years of service you were the very best,
The piper at 9.15 the Queen would hear,
From her room in the palace or somewhere very near,
The marching of the blues and royals,
Will take her Majesty home from all her toils,

Simply the best.
Better than all the rest,
70 glorious years you gave,
Aged 21 years began God save,
Married to Prince Philip the Greek,
A glorious wedding on a Thursday one day of the week,
20th November 1947was the glorious year. She married her Prince who she said was very dear,
Her hero companion Husband the Man,
She met him in her teenage years, she certainly was a fan.

It is with great sadness that Buckingham Palace announced the death yesterday of Queen Elizabeth 11.
An inspirational reign of over 70 years.
I myself would like to pay tribute to our sovereign and through the many years she has served the British public she has not put a foot wrong.
