I can see very little change, with reference to the Monroe report, and child protection in general.

Local Authority's are under financial restraints regarding cutbacks,and as reported in various newspapers, vulnerable children will be left at risk because of this.

While Social Work assistants are allowed to carry out initial and core assesments,something they are not qualified to to do, tragedies like Baby Peter will still occur, one a more frequent occurrence.
