SOCIAL WORK IN THE 21ST CENTURY-HOPEFULLY A CHANGE FOR THE BETTER

I was told the other day by a PAIN client that her Social Worker had stated that our National Support Organization was one of those Social Services hate groups.

I can assure all these Professionals in the Country that the Group is there to advise Parents, about their rights, when involved in Care Proceedings,and Family Court hearings.,and are around to ensure that Family's are given the correct information, at a very traumatic time.

SOCIAL SERVICES NEED MORE TIME TO PREPARE FOR OFSTED INSPECTIONS REPORT STATES

I totally agree that Childrens Services need more time to prepare for Ofsted inspections, Social Services have a daily battle on their hands at the moment, to get through their heavy case loads with the alarmingly increase in Care Proceedings, due to their own System failings, resulting in the death of vulnerable Children, but the on the spot inspections should continue, to oversee what improvements have been made, with reference to safeguarding children,and other aspects of concern, such as… Continue

CHILD TAKEN INTO CARE IN DERBYSHIRE

Why will Local Authority's not use the kincare clause, outlined under the Public Law Guidelines, by placing the Child with an immediate Family member, such as Grandparents.this would of prevented trauma to the child.?

If the Parents had not signed a section 20 Order,to put the Boy into voluntary care, Social Services would of instigated an Emergency Protection Order.

Goverment accepts 15 reccomendations from the Social Work Taskforce

The Government have accepted 15 recommendations, from the Social Work taskforce, i just hope they will put adequate funding into the project., it is alright putting things into theory,practice is of the uttermost importance.

Ed Balls stats that, it is a watershed moment for Social Workers.

Perhaps they should consider dealing with the critical work,that has come out of many of the Local Authority's Ofsted failings.

DOUBLE STANDARDS YET AGAIN

The Government make things so difficult, especially for single Mothers.

They are stopping benefits if the mother doesn't look for work.

The problem is it is very hard to get a job that fits around school holidays,and paying out for Childminders leaves these mothers worse off financially.

GOVERMENT TO INTERVENE IN WARRINGTONS FAILING CHILDRENS SERVICES

The Government will have to intervene in many other Local Authorities, there are many LAS up and down the Country, that are failing their on the spot Ofsted inspections.

I am not convinced by this Corporate Parents statement, only time will tell.
